- Experience who you are, beyond barriers

‘The Mastery’ is a unique and powerful workshop that gives you an authentic experience of yourself with more of your passion, feelings and freedom to express who you are. Participants report increasing confidence, presence, creativity and personal power. It can be a profound catalyst for freeing yourself from blocks and difficulties – and creating your life from there.

Originally devised for actors in the 1970s by film producer Dan Fauci, this weekend workshop has been running all over the world ever since, inviting people from all walks of life to come and experience what happens when you dare to look, or even step, beyond your own limitations.

it’s the best means I know of (along with one-to-one coaching of course!) to make real change and move forward in yourself and your life. Why not come and join me, my fellow leaders and the other participants, and discover what is possible when you bring more authenticity and resourcefulness to your life?

Participants of the Mastery say:
“Of all the self-awareness programmes I have participated in all over the world, this was the one that gave me the key to my freedom.”
“In some inexplicable way I am more sure of myself, perhaps trust myself more.”
“A thoroughly enjoyable and enlightening course – to be recommended.”

WALKING FOR A CHANGE: Refresh and Reboot Your Life in the Great Outdoors
with Jan Castle and Sue Hollingsworth
Summer 2020 – dates tbc

  • Do you want to rethink your life – or yourself?
  • Do you have a goal or life challenge to move forwards?
  • Are you inspired by being outdoors?

If the answer’s yes then come and join storyteller Sue Hollingsworth and coach Jan Castle for this workshop with a difference, walking along the gently rolling hills of the Ridgeway* towards the ancient stones of Avebury. Bring along a challenge, an issue or an unrealised dream and as we walk along we will take steps towards taking the decisions and making the changes you want in your life.

Through autobiographical storytelling games and exercises, one-to-one life coaching sessions ‘on the hoof’, and the fresh air and long distance views of the Ridgeway, we will gain clarity and insight, discover unexpected solutions, and return home with renewed purpose, ready to make our ideas a reality.

How it Works
We will be staying in Hostel accommodation in shared group rooms with all meals provided and a fine feast on our last day in a friendly pub in Avebury. The walking pace will be leisurely to allow time for conversation, activities and relaxation but you do need to be able to walk up to 8 miles a day across mostly gentle landscape while carrying essential personal items such as drinking water, lunch and waterproofs. No previous experience of either storytelling or coaching is required and a full list of what you need to bring will be provided on booking. The group will be limited to a maximum of 10 participants.

Previous participants said:
“Uplifting, morale boosting, energising, good fun, a unique experience.”
“The experience of journeying concurrently through external and inner landscapes was incredibly potent.”
“The storytelling provided a perfect complement to the coaching activities because it opened up opportunities to explore and express the issues that were coming up in the coaching.”
“Thoroughly rejuvenating – physically, emotionally, and intellectually – in the hands of true professionals and genuinely lovely people.”
“Superb. Will recommend the next one to anyone who seems ready for a change.”

*The Ridgeway long-distance path follows a route used by travellers since prehistoric times across the beautiful Wessex Downs. We will be walking the southern section from south of Wantage in Oxfordshire to Avebury in Wiltshire.
