What motivates you?

What motivates you?

  • If you’ve ever felt confused about what you really want or enjoy
  • If you’ve ever wondered what type of work will satisfy you
  • If you want to understand what fulfils you in your relationships

…then why not discover your true Directions?

IDI (Individual Directions Inventory) is a tool for personal and professional development that gives you in-depth insight into your motivations and preferences. It allows you to explore how these have affected the choices you have made in the past in different areas of your life, and think about what decisions and actions you might make in the future. It is essentially a map of what brings you emotional satisfaction in life and therefore a valuable aid in creating a fulfilling personal and professional life.

When you think about it, we do everything ultimately for satisfaction, happiness and fulfilment. So understanding what really satisfies us is crucial when making important life decisions. Knowing what motivates us, we are better equipped to decide on a fulfilling career, create a balanced life or build satisfying personal and professional relationships. Not only that, but harnessing our motivation is a powerful tool for change.

As a licensed IDI facilitator I can offer you a Directions assessment, clarify the new insights that result, and explore their significance as you look towards the future.

You are welcome to book a Directions assessment as a stand-alone process. Alternatively, Directions is extremely helpful as part of ongoing coaching sessions, for example around career change, relationship and communications issues, or discovering life purpose.

IDI Directions has very good credentials. It was developed by Management Research Group and is used by many ‘big names’ such as Harvard Business School and PricewaterhouseCoopers. It is widely used in organisations to help people harness their motivation and gain satisfaction at work.
